I believe in the power of honest storytelling to create real social impact and give a platform to voices that are too often ignored. In a time where misinformation spreads so easily, I’m passionate about contributing to truthful journalism that informs, empowers and makes a difference.

I care deeply about politics and am eager to contribute to the reawakening of a politically disinterested society. My dissertation, for which I was awarded a first, investigated the effects of traditional and social media news on political attitudes. The project gave me a deeper understanding of what the UK public values in their news media, and reinforced my belief that multi-media journalism is key to maximising the impact of public service reporting
